Marc Renell

After completing his professional training as a banker, Mr. Marc Renell studied economics and industrial engineering at the TH Karlsruhe.
In 2002 he joined Renell Bank, where he has been a member of the board since 2005. Marc Renell has 25 years of banking experience with a focus on securities trading and corporate finance. He is a licensed exchange trader and certified portfolio manager. He also acts as a board member in the “International Bankers Forum” and is a member of the representative assembly of Frankfurter Volksbank eG.

Andreas Leonhardt
Board Member

Andreas Leonhardt studied law at the Justus Liebig University in Freiburg and is a fully qualified lawyer. As an employee at KPMG, he came into contact with the financial sector for the first time, where he looked after several banks as part of the annual audit. After moving to MainFirst in 2003, he was responsible for the finance department. After a few more intermediate positions, where he also worked as a manager, he came to Renell in 2020 and is the back office director.

Supervisory Board

Jan Liepe

Jan Liepe is a lawyer and partner at Waldeck Rechtsanwälte in Frankfurt. He works in banking and capital markets law and began his legal career at Clifford Chance. His law studies previously took him to the University of Passau and King’s College London.

Bernhard P. Kluge
Deputy Chairman

Mr. Bernard P. Kluge. is a banker with many years of experience at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and German futures exchange.

Dr. Bernhard Walther

In August 2017 Dr. Bernhard Walther was chosen in the supervisory board of Renell Wertpapierhandelsbank AG. The finance scientist held numerous national and international leadership positions in the area of the financial management, under it for enterprise and organisations like Bankers Trust, USA, the stock exchange of Taiwan, Credit Suisse, DIT Deutscher Investment Trust or the UBS Deutschland AG, where he acted as a board of directors for the private customer´s business.
